Front & Back Labelling

Define the relationship between the two labels

For front-and-back labelling, provide both label artworks and a finished-container drawing showing their required position. State whether they must align to one another, a handle, a mould seam or a closure orientation. Identify any intentional difference in label size, shape or application height.

Use the filled container condition if it affects the shape or rigidity of the label panels. Compare the automatic and compact options against how the pack arrives, how it is supported and how the first approved labels are checked after changeover. Keep label supply information with each released format.

Reel details
Confirm core, unwind direction, label gap and backing information for both labels with the proposed configuration.
Quality checks
Agree separate front-label, back-label and relative-position criteria. Record how a missing or incorrect label will be identified in the intended process.

Can the same setup be reused after a bottle-panel redesign?

Treat the changed panel as a format revision. Recheck orientation, support, label size and accepted position before releasing the new container.
